Following this, the winners will be announced in January of next year after a final review that includes an evaluation of RAW data and written essays.

Exhibited at the Sony Imaging Gallery Ginza Special Exhibition “Stories III”

The “Stories III” exhibition, held at the Sony Imaging Gallery Ginza from Friday, November 17, to Thursday, November 30, has successfully concluded.
I am filled with gratitude for everyone who visited during the exhibition period.
I felt that if I were given such a wonderful opportunity in such a fantastic venue, I simply had to give it my all. That is why I decided to exhibit “Seasons: A Tale of Destruction and Rebirth,” a series of works inspired by submerged forests.
The exhibition featured a compelling display of 10 B1-sized photographic panels.
As I am planning to pursue photography as my full-time career in the future, this special exhibition should serve as a major step forward.
This is merely a step along the way, and the outcome I’m striving for is still a long way off.
I intend to continue my work as an artist, keeping my eyes on the future, never giving up, and staying true to my philosophy. I would be grateful for your continued support.
Finally, I am also selling prints of the works displayed in this exhibition, as well as others.
If you’re interested, I’d be delighted if you’d purchase them from the online store below.

Sony World Photography Awards 2023 Open Competition Shortlist

I am pleased to announce that my work, “God’s Garden,” has been shortlisted in the Travel category of the Open Competition at the Sony World Photography Awards 2023.
This is a major international photography competition organized by the World Photography Organization (UK) and sponsored by Sony.
Out of 415,000 entries (210,000 in the Open category), I managed to make the shortlist. Since I was aiming for Category Winner, to be honest, I feel more disappointment than a sense of accomplishment.
I will not be satisfied with this result and intend to continue dedicating myself to my photography.
